Are you upgrading your SAP system or applying SAP support pack 24 or higher?

Recently, several customers found that after applying SAP BASIS 7.00 support package 24, certain transaction recording modes (particularly non-batch input recordings) no longer worked.

The primary cause relates to support package 24. However, related packages in other SAP BASIS versions also result in this problem.

Consequently, you may be interested to know that Transaction and Runner v10.3 now support the Winshuttle Function Module (WFM) for SAP. This WFM should not be confused with the Winshuttle Query Function Module for SAP. This new WFM has been specifically created to deal with the SAP changes introduced in support package 24. Customers who are upgrading to support package 24 should contact the Winshuttle support to obtain the software. A document outlining the purpose and functionality associated with the WFM is available from Winshuttle support.

Customers upgrading their SAP systems are encouraged to include Winshuttle scenarios in their SAP testing regimen to ensure their Winshuttle automations aren’t broken post go-live.
